Remets-le = Put it back
The name Remets-le comes from the French language and means “Put it back.”
It’s a simple phrase, yet it carries a quiet philosophy. To put something back where it belongs. To return value to what was once loved. That meaning mirrors the heart of the website: giving a second life to high-quality, hand-selected clothing.
It turned into a Mission
It began almost as a joke: a simple hunt for well-made clothes that deserved a second life. But the more we searched, the more we noticed what others overlooked—beautiful, high-quality pieces being discarded far too easily.
Clothes that help the environment
Seeing how much craftsmanship ends up in the trash, and understanding the heavy environmental cost of fast fashion, changed everything. These new clothes, produced quickly and carelessly, could never compare to the
durability and soul of true vintage.
